Living Statues

Can anyone point me to a few good references where I can go to learn about the art of becoming a living statue? I was at the San Diego zoo a few weeks ago, and saw an awesome performance of statues coming to life.

Ideas, tips, suggestions welcomed - what kind of body paint to use to achieve the various effects, clothing, et cetera.

All I'm finding is websites *about* 'em, but not how to pull it off. Maybe I'm not using the right keywords..
