This was a difficult one to make due to the fact I wanted it manga accurate. I used a few simple things to make it. It's pretty quick and easy to do!
Items:
construction paper ( black )- 1, preferably longer than 11 inches and wider than 7.3 inches ( you'll cut it down later )
regular printer paper- 20 ( depends on how thick you want the cover instead of having it " paper back " )
lined paper ( college ruled preferably )- 93 pages
paper cutter / scissors- needed for cutting. ( use scissors if you don't have a paper cutter )
ruler- preferably with inches and centimeters ( millimeters helps if you don't have a centimeter side )
the first rules- can be found online
yarn- to hold it together rather than use staples
glue
hot glue and hot glue gun
Packaging tape- for water proofing ( doesn't dissolve when you spray it )
black spray paint
( optional ) white spray paint- print the words " DEATH NOTE " out and make a template or use the cut out letters for it ( make sure they fit properly when printing, otherwise you'll screw up. )
I made it for Halloween of last year, but the notebook wasn't finished until after Halloween.
I prefer making some of my things rather than buy it online.
