Life-size Jurassic Park replicas?

I was flipping throught the new PIH auction cataloge and came across the T-rex head and other JP items for sale. It sparked up a question i've had for quite a while.

Some time ago, I cam across a company that had original full-size dinosaurs from the JP movies. They also sold copies of these dinosaurs and you could buy parts of them. For th elife of me I cant' remember the company but I remember trying to get in contact with them on more than one occasion without any success.

I was wondering, is there anyone out there that has and is selling copies of the dinos from the movies? The T-rex, raptors, etc? I knwo the guy for sure had the T-rex and raptors, and few others I cant' remember.

Anyone have maquettes of the dinos? Again, I know there was a model company selling kits of the maquettes, but they're very difficult to find.

Not a copy from a real prop but here is something I made a year or so ago for a fellow member here for his Haunted House :) This was put on a rig to open and close it's mouth!

Holy crap! If I saw one of those coming at me I'd pee myself! :eek

there was a guy on ebay a few months ago i came across. They make lifesize jurassic park replicas, it was crazy what they had. The raptor was going for a few thousand.

Would love to know their eBay user ID, if you can find it. Would love to see what they had to offer.

Also interested in that website, if anyone finds or knows about it.

Imagemotor made the wall-mounted JP-styled raptors and rexes. Most of their dinos are sold out, though, as most of them were made in limited numbers. I managed to get the series 2 wallbursting velociraptor. Click the 'prop replica shop' link: http://imagemotor.tripod.com/

Studio Oxmox offers some life-sized 1:1(!) raptors, a 1:1(!!!) T-Rex head, and a 1:10 T-Rex and Raptor diorama, all painted and easy to assemble for fairly reasonable prices:

If you want life-sized JP dinos, contact Dino Don, Inc. I think this is the company you were referring to that sold the original full-size dinos, as they are cast from the original Jurassic Park dinosaurs. You have to contact them for pricing. I recommend calling them because they never responded to my emails. These ones are a bit more expensive, but a percentage of the cost goes to the non-profit organization Jurassic Foundation: http://dinodon.com/forsale.htm

Also, for anyone looking into JP props or replicas, DO NOT order from Gavin Robinson of myjurassicpark.com, as there have been many reports of him taking the money and shipping nothing. See this thread on SF: http://www.statueforum.com/showthread.php?t=71429

He goes by usernames 'forgotten-worlds' on eBay and 'propcollector' on yourprops.com.

Just warning anyone, as I was thinking about buying something from him myself.

Yeah, I head some bad things about him a couple of months ago on another board.. Its the same rex bust the Howard sells

Although this work, and the work of the JP crew always impresses me, i always thought that the T-Rex's overbite makes him look a bit like Monty Burns!!!:lol

Rich

OH YEAH SMART GUY ...HOW'S THIS FOR MONTY BURNS!:lol

She'll get ya on your way out of The LAB...
(actually as you are leaving the Haunted house, I have a bass shaker mounted to the floor and the Rex sound ripped from JP so when she comes out and roars...it rattles your bones, not to mention it comes out of the dark and is right in your face.):)

If any of ya are in Michigan or plan on coming up in OCT, stop in say hi I'll let you pet my dinosaur.
