Well here I go again. Got most of a predator costume done and here is what is done.

The mask is from skunk and also painted by him too. Insanely cool paint job. Thanks again mate.

Feet are from seahunter. 

The rest of the skin and armor is from Mannowar. (Stop taking my money man!)

The skins were painted by Neokazama. Thanks again chris. Your paintjob on the skins are top notch. Hope to be half as good as you one day bud. And props on the name man!

The armor I painted myself. I still want to paint the tips of the dreadlocks so I'll be attaching them once I have that done.

Thanks for the kind words gentlemen.

I have an update on the mask. I Made some quills using bake and bend clay. Works very well and is fairly cheap. I started with 20 to see how far that would take me. I quickly noticed it was not going to be anywhere near enough. So I made a second batch of 30. I only have the brows covered. For some odd reason I was having trouble getting some of the quills to stick with super glue. So I just stopped for the night. I still have the lower mandibles and chin to cover. And I got the dreads glued on. 

These pictures are honestly pretty bad as I don't have a head piece to display the mask properly. So I'm trying to hold it out with my hand and take pictures. Will update with better shots when I'm wearing it.

Thank you. Hey did you ever finish your suit? I remember you making some awesome custom feet for your suit, but nothing after that?

Attached a few pictures from halloween. It's not finished, but a friend of mine on the Lair convinced me you guys would like to see it.

I do want to point out that the I'm only wearing the tops of the gauntlets as they don't fit over the skin. What do you guys normally do if you run into this problem? I was considering adding elastic bands to them so it would be move like the Berserker styled gauntlets that didn't have bottoms.

Sounds like a challenge to me buddy! Now get over to PA and say it to my face! Lol.

I'm doing some research bud. I have a chest piece from mannowar. However I'm gonna try my hand on the thigh, cod, and back armor. Just need to decide on clay and I'm gonna dive into sculpting. Probably gonna turn out terrible, but I have to start somewhere.

Do you even have skin for your new suit?

A twin lady preddy maybe. Would love the colour list if you still have it. If not, don't stress. I'm a muralist and an airbrush artist, so I'm sure I'll figure it out. Having the list would certainly save me a lot of trouble though!

So far my costumes are softly from video games, I should really post some more pics in the OT costume thread made... But they are all NOTHING like a predator. Definitely branching out of my comfort zone with this one.

Well you're off to good start with that kind of experience under your belt. The colors are white, black, red, earth brown, golden sand, delta violet, process cyan, and olive. That should save you some headache.

The community loves seeing costumes of all kinds so yes you should post some pictures. The one in your profile is a character from borderlands correct? And the one thing I can say about having a predator costume is everyone will love it. It's not one you normally see and draws a lot of attention. Definitely worth going for.

Thanks for the luck. I'm terrified to see how my sculpts go. However, I have to learn somehow right?

I've seen the odd predator costume at cons, and they are always a great photo subject! Not a very popular costume, but one of the easiest to identify.

And yes, borderlands! Although this pic was a makeup trial for a custom look.
