Finally had some time after mid-terms to work on pending projects. One of them is a Left For Dead II shotgun display for a friend.

Got the display box frame together today. I will be adding a fake pipe bomb, med-kit, and some of the pics below.

Nice project and display. Playing the original on 360 lives the best. :love

L4D 1 & 2 player here as well. I prefer the dual pistols, machete & M16 but if I have to use a shotgun, it's that one because of the high rate of fire. I think a pipe bomb, medpack and maybe a stim injector would be cool addons.:thumbsup

There's also the bile bomb you could add to it as well.:cool

Actually, I happen to know someone who did a lot of L4D paper props. He created them for not just one entry, but one of them was used in a second entry, in the Midnight Riders "Save Me Some Sugar" music video contest. The maker of the video actually got me in contact with him, and he sent me a lot of the paper props featured in the video, which includes the cover of "Speed" by Jimmy Gibbs Jr. He did a pretty good job on them.

I'll have to see how the accessories look and how much room I have for stuff. The front will be a magnetically held Lexan face. The sides will be the same. I haven't decided if the back will be mesh metal (like a gun locker) or solid painted.

I'm going to test the metal looking paint on a test piece tomorrow to see how it looks. Too cold to paint right now.

I'll be building another for my oldest. He has the same shotgun and plays the game all the time. He's a true Zombie Killer.. LOL

Can't wait for the next episode of The Walking Dead tonight.

Just a little update. Still working on various things (e.g. faux pipe bomb, pills, etc)..

Debating on adding led lighting...

Thats really cool, love the weapons in the L4D games, and that display is perfectly thought out in my opinon really cool

Damn looks good. What's the weight of the display?

Weight is about 12 lbs with the plexiglass front. Easily hangable on any wall. No heavier than any medium size mirror.

I did a med kit that looked just like in the game but the so called "made for plastics" paint kept chipping off. So I just left it in it's outer packaging.
