Latest scratchbuild-Tie Crawler

Hi all, here is my new build, the Tie Crawler. Since the Fourth Axis kit seems to have dissapeared forever, I have started scratchbuilding one. (Watch them pop up all over Ebay now!!) The fuselage is of course and AMT Tie Fighter, (thanks Apophis). The crawlers are sheet plastic and sandwiched balsa. To add a little 'realism', I have added a drive sprocket, wheels and tracks from a Tamiya M551 Sheriden. The red pointed cap on the back of the fuselage is from a BBQ sauce bottle! I am following pics of the Fourth Axis kit and schematics in the Essential Guide fairly closely, as well as the image of the destroyed crawler in the Dark Empire comic. Please note, the wheels and treads are only blue tacked on in these pics!
The deck will be sheet plastic and some ridged sheet as well. Then I get to go mad with sheet plastic armour, greeblies and fine wire!
