For Kings fans
In episode 1 of the NBC miniseries "Kings", the Reverend Samuels gives David Shepherd a broken wristwatch as payment for fixing his car. Engraved on the back of the watch is the butterfly emblem of the Royal Kingdom of Gilboa.
Thanks to a quick shot of the band of the watch in episode 7, I was able to ID the brand of the watch: Orient.
Some searching on the internet, including Orient's site, I am virtually certain that the watch is an Orient Automatic Men's Classic Day / Date. All gold-tone, black (or navy blue?) face. Caliber 46E, 21 jewels.
According to Orient's website, it appears to be out-of-production. Examples found for sale online are about $105, without shipping.
The emblem of the butterfly on the caseback is, I'm guessing, a thin metal disc affixed to the back. This guess is based on the close-ups in episode 1.
Good luck to those who seek one.
