Kerezman

Has anybody heard anything about Kerezman lately or placed an order? I've seen a lot of bad things said about him, but he IS the only source for half decent bloodstripes and I haven't seen anything negative dated in the last year or so. Is he more reliable now?

I havent heard anything lately but from my own experience I would avoid this guy like the plague! I ordered and paid for two Enterprise Uniforms from him and only ever received one a whole year later!

From all the posts I read he's considerably less reliable on large items like whole costumes, has anybody had any recent dealings with him on just patches?

For what it's worth, I don't think the guy is actually out to fleece anyone, I think he just constantly bites off more than he can chew, then panics when he falls behind. I met him at a con a few years ago and hung out at his table for awhile and didn't get any kind of "predatory" feeling from him at all.

If you want to order something you might want to get him on the phone, and really talk out how busy he is, try to get a "realistic" time frame for delivery, then work out a payment plan so that he doesn't get the full amount until you at least have an active tracking number showing that the item's been sent.

Good luck!

He moved to Henderson (Near Vegas) a few years back. Then he decided to start his Star Trek Excalibur fan series. He recruited lots of help. One of the actors on the show contacted me to make some props for him. I was leary, and when all the negative comments came out, I declined. Many people jumped on board to help him. A member GAVE him a set of command chair arm rests to build his captain's chair with for the set. Well, he built the chair, then sold it and asked the member for ANOTHER set of srm rests!
He began to build a set, and I mean he was recreating the ENTIRE Desilu sets from TOS. In addition to the money donated to him, he took money for costumes, up front and used that to build his sets, buy DVR's and pay his rent. Hmmm, that doesn't leave much left for fabric! When ones began to ask for their stuff, he always put them off longer and longer. When ones demanded their items, he then got defensive saying, "Sorry, but my daughter has to eat!" and comments like that. He seemed to forget, however, she was eating off of our money!
Then his sets were destroyed and he launches a plea for MORE money to hire laywers to sue those who destroyed his sets, and build new ones.
He then put up an eBay auction for a walk on-non speaking role on his show. Opening bid $250.00, you pay your own way to Vegas, pay for your own hotel and food, just so you can walk on the bridge and LOOK at the camera!
I could go on for pages, but you get the jist!

Precisley why I have not, nor will I order from him or his buddy if they are in act different people.

Is there anywhere else to get bloodstripes like those then, or are the only options to either take the risk or make some craptacular Han pants?

I ordered a custom Ghostbuster and name patch from this guy and a month later, I am still waiting. He says he shipped it out weeks ago, but he will ship another set right away. I looked at his feedback and he seems to have a lot of history of having to "re-ship." So either he's lying or doesn't know how to read a shipping address.

Of course I also blame e-bay for showing that this guy has a 100% positive feedback. But what it really means is positive feedback in the past 12 months.

Nakedmolerat's story....utterly true.

I once spent almost a year battling him for some TOS rank braid and patch. He claimed he shipped them several times, they must have gotten lost, etc.

I had to call him out publicly to get any results. I never want to go through that again. I was amazed at just how many people he had done that to.
