Jurassic Park TLW Dinosaur Info Sheets

Just wanted to show off a project I started 3 years ago, then lost all the info on a computer crash.. It took me a long time to even want to try it again.. So the past 2 days, I've been doing alot of research with my books, online photos and info, gathering everything all over again to get these things done..

Not only do I have all the original dinos from the actual prop, but added alot of new ones, (some of the original toy dinos, JP3, etc) and still find myself wanting to make more info sheets!!

I just got back from Staples with the laminated copies. Some of them need to be redone, as the white border around some of the dinos came out off white, but I am happy with the results otherwise!

Those are phenomenal looking. I've wanted one of those packets from JPII for... well, I guess it's been a decade now. Any plans to post hi-res images?
Also, in JP3 they mention Spinosaurus wasn't on any of InGen's lists. You may want to add the Hadrosaur and the Ankylosaurus, seen in JP3 and it would be cool to add some seen in the books (like that AWESOME invisible Carnotaurus).

Can you guys refresh my memory...where at were these shown in the second movie? I remember something like these being shown in JP3, but not The Lost World.

I already have the Carnotaurus, Ankylosaurus, Metriacanthosaurus, Coelophysis, Corythosaurus, Dimorphodon, Eoraptor, Ornitholestes, Lycaenops, Monolophosaurus, Oviraptor, Parasuchus, Postosuchus, Protoceratops, and Tanystropheus in the works....

It was in the second movie when Roland and his team are catching the dinos

Those look really good. I think they'd look even better though if you "justified" the text to get a straight edge on the right. :thumbsup

Very cool! Those look really great. Loved that seen in the second film where he can't really pronounce the names and just starts saying get Elvis, and Friar Tuck:lol

Wow, pretty cool... Thats an awesome idea, there are not much props from TLW, so DO IT! :)

That would be great, any plans for posting, trading or selling this?!?

Thanks for the comments guys!!

Once I work out all the kinks, I was thinking about starting an interest list.. I will probably sell them in 2 different lots, One just the JP dinosaurs, and the second one being all of them...

Stellar work, Rob! "Just call him Friar Tuck!"

Remind me, and I'll throw out some pics of the location where they filmed that scene out here on the northern California coast.

nice :) although i wish theyd do away with the size specs stuff... as live ones may grow larger than the fossils we find. maybe AVERAGE height, length and weight, but not maximum as reptiles grow throughout their life.

I agree, but being this is in the "Jurassic Park" world, I used the JP Institute book and got all the specs from there

Rob, here's some Google shots. The scene was filmed at a California State Park between Eureka and Crescent City. I was up there in June 2008, and have a boat load of pics in the park.

The red arrow denotes the rock the heroes crouched on to watch the stampede.

Callum, I recently got over a major hump (almost literally!) on the DS. I'll post an update hopefully over the weekend.
