in jurassic park 1 the ford explorers are supposed to be guided on a track
how did they accomplish this in real life?

They're driven by hidden drivers in the backseat / trunk area. I think they had a closed-circuit camera system so they could see the road.

Mike is right, they had drivers in the far back area of the explorer who used cameras to aid in driving. one of the explorers that was used in the movie is on display at universal's Islands of Adventure and at one time you were able to look in the back of the truck and see the peddles and wheel used to drive the truck
