Jor-El's Phantom Zone crystal from Smallville

[Vaderman]

After watching thelast few "Smallville" episodes dealing with the Green Arrow and the phantom Zone refugees, I wondered if anyone has built the crystal of Jor-El that Clark now has from the Zone?

It's a small Superman shield in blue translucent acrylic resin, I believe.

It'd probably make a good keyring.

Any info is appreciated. I can't get any screen grabs as the episode was already deleted from the Tivo. D'oh.
Maybe when it reruns...

It sort of varies honestly.

It starts out black, then goes into the clear with blue highlights, then the superman colors, then back to sort of a neon blue back with solid blue S and shield.

I haven't made it (yet :lol) but I am pretty interested in it myself. I know of one guy supposedly tackling it, and sent him some nice HDTV pics of it. I am hoping to see a thread pop up soon about it

Also, another PITA thing is it keeps changing size from the premiere to the new episode. it goes from about 2" wide to about 4" wide, i think they used diff ones for diff shots.

The 2" blue version he held in his palm in the epsiode 2 weeks ago is the size color I thought would be cool for a keyring.
Any chance you could send me some caps of it too?

I made it already a few weeks ago. I made some black from when it turns evil after Lex Luthor/Gen Zod touched it and made Zod leave. I have casted it as well in a super light shade of translucent blue as I think it looked in the episode in the zone. I have not yet taken pics of it as I thought no one would be interested in it. I will try to post them tommorrow

yea, check out the last 4 caps. lex's hand (the palm one), then clark holding it when lex is down, and a little bit bigger shot of clark holding it. then in static (this weeks episode) its friggin massive.

Great screen caps. I made my piece very quickly off of a very bad photo that I got and I got the symbol right, to the photo that I had but these pics make it look so different form my pic that I will not even post my finished pieces.

I will post the pics tonight if time allows. As you can see from that pic that even the profile doesn't match your screencaps because I only had one angle.. Again it was a fast prop that I made just to do something. If I was to do it right, those screencaps would be adhered .
