Been wanting this for a while. I had one when they first came out but sold it to my Dad years ago. Finally found another.

Hate to say it, but it's not that knife he uses, he uses the SOG Tigershark, which is bigger than the SOG Seal model you have there.

It's also the older model Tigershark with powdercoat finish which was discontinued about three years ago. The new one has a slightly different shape now and not the quality of the older version.

Dup! My Dad found the knife and sent me the pics. Thanks for the heads-up!

I didn't know they had a smaller version. It was pretty cheap so I'll get it anyway. Now to find the larger version!!

:lol Nice to knowthat another one of my favorite real-life camping knives made it to the small-screen. :lol

Lost had good taste in blades!

I'm almost positive the new Tigershark 2.0 is also powder coated and slightly larger than the original in overall length.

It is powder coated but definately is smaller in all dimensions (I have both). I like it, but it doesn't have the weight or presence of the older model. The newer ones are made in Taiwan, the older ones by SEKI Japan.

That's funny. One of my first jobs was working for SOG. My dad knows the owner and sold him his first few manufacturing buildings in Edmonds Washington. I worked for them for about 1 year making their multitools.
