Jodie Foster's Beaver pushed back

D'Ohhh! What an unfortunate title…

When I first saw the thread title, I thought it said: "Jodie Foster's Reaver pushed back"

I'd almost think I had watched too much Firefly, if I didn't know that was impossible.

The only thing that would be funnier, is if this film had been released back in 1998. The headlines may have read, "Jodie Foster's Beaver beaten by John Walter's Pecker."

Now THAT would be really funny.

Jodie Foster shows her Beaver off for the first time at Film Festival.

Anton Yelchin and Jodie Foster attend the 2011 SXSW Music + Film Festival premiere of The Beaver on March 16, 2011, in Austin, Texas.

"In an interview on Thursday morning Ms. Foster spoke of her decision to stand by Mr. Gibson, saying that while his personal life was more public than most people’s, “I don’t actually think his troubles are as unusual as you might think.
He’s the first person I thought of” in casting Walter Black, she said. “He has a very, very rare quality to have lightness, to maintain charm but still go to a darker place.”

She said that his presence changed the movie somewhat; for example, the Beaver became darker and gruffer.
