Jean Grey (all her incarnations)

Re: Jean Grey (90's, Jim Lee)

Nope! I typed it all out number for number! :p I just paid very close attention...To be honest it never occurred to me to Copy/Paste it...A bit worrying lol...

Re: Jean Grey (90's, Jim Lee)

That costume is great and dear God you are stunning in it.
Thank you!

I actually JUST finished redoing the headpiece today. Now it's no longer attached to the suit/collar. So I can be civi-Jean! Wee!

So Kearstin, I have to ask, what is your next suit you are considering?

It's always plural. I have to learn to cut back haha
For Wizard Chicago this weekend I'm premier two new ones: Red Lantern Mera and X-Factor Jean Grey.

Then Dragoncon I'm doing Angela from Spawn, Attina from The Little Mermaid haha

Re: Jean Grey (90's, Jim Lee)

Oh wow. That is awesome, X-factor Jean will be cool to see. Looking forward to seeing you at C2E2 2013!

Re: Jean Grey (90's, Jim Lee)

That's a tough version of Jean's costume to do right, and you certainly did it right! Well done! I especially like the headpiece and armor plating. Looks legit!

Re: Jean Grey (90's, Jim Lee)

When I remade the headpiece, I couldn't decide on purple gem or blue. haha but just fit the colors better haha was less... telepathic?

Re: Jean Grey (90's, Jim Lee)

WOW. Absolutely fantastic work, by far the best Jean Grey I've ever seen. In fact, most of your work is some of the best I've ever seen! Do you or have you considered doing commissioned work?

I used to do commission work but I'm not doing it anymore until further notice :)

Re: Jean Grey (90's, Jim Lee)

Totally understandable. I'm sure holding a job and working on your own costumes is time consuming enough as it is!

Re: Jean Grey (90's, Jim Lee)

Awesome work, nice tats...

I've always wondered how people go from one con so far from the other? Is it like a vacation or business for you?

Definitely too sexy for the characters...:rolleyes

:lol

:lol
Sometimes it's business, other times it's my own dime :)

Re: Jean Grey (90's, Jim Lee)

So I can't decide if I should just change this thread to "All my Jean Greys" so I don't flood the forum with a bajillion costumes lol... what say you?

Re: Jean Grey (90's, Jim Lee)

Do it. A massive "All My Jean Greys" thread would be much easier to keep track of.

Oh, and I saw that photo of you in your Dark Phoenix costume with Stan Lee on Facebook! So awesome!
