Decided that i am gonna dress up as James bond in his Spectre skeleton suit for this years Halloween.
I took some clay and started adding it onto a head mold of myself. Blocking out the shape according to images i found on the net.
Then i made a silicone mold of the piece and slushcasted my first test piece.
The test piece is thin in some places, most around the edges and the eyes so i knew that the next cast needed to be thicker at those places.
I made another cast and took some time to thicken up the places that been thin on the first cast.
I wanted to see how the mask would look painted ,so i know what to do on the nice cast.
So i painted up the first crappy cast with acrylic paint, It's really rough with bubbles and a simple cut out of the cheeks,, Added a strap around the head and tested it together with my painted suit, which i will paint another layer on in the future.
Looks really good for a crappy paint job.

Next up is to clean up the second cast and do a nice paintjob on it, plus i wanna cut open the mouth piece so i can attach it with a elastic like the real one. It will make breathing a little better and i will be able to have a drink without removing my mask.
