No luck on finding the knife for sale, but I did come across this....

Looks pretty much certain it's not off the shelf.

That is the prototype S.D.Studios From Russia With Love Throwing knife and blueprint, the knife was sold with the case and also as a stand alone item with a walnut plaque.

The company that bought Master Replicas is planning a line of 007 props. Is it possible this will be one of them?

Mantis or Ed from spyboys would know about this for sure.

I'm pretty sure a small run of the briefcases were done at one time.

SD Studios did a run and they turn up every now and then, alot of the blade blanks were sold on when the company folded. Someone in the UK did a run of about 20 in RWL- 34 and black micarta about two years ago and they went for £190 each. The new guys reproducing the prop replicas have not announced any intention to do this prop, but my guess is that it would be a popular one.

SD Studios did the briefcases a few years back. Maybe Steve can chime in with some background info.

The knife is not being made presently. I'm told the new company may be producing the FRWL attache case in the future. In the mean time, here are pictures of some of the pieces in my collection:

Edit: I have 007 attache case throwing knives in my collection. Two came with the attache case, one was purchased with the plaque, and the last four are unfinished and need to be polished and have the handles attached.

It is a prototype - very rough and not finished - the aluminum have not been finished and polished. The hole wasn't drilled yet. This is a little more like the film prop - no hole.
Good to find you guys here.

What happened to the hole?

Edit: Good to see you over here.

Oh, but the hole locks the knife in with the pin on the briefcase. Very nice work though. Did you make it?

Yes, I know the hole lock the knife in place. That was how SD used to do it - but it don't have to be that way you know? This piece are parts of the SD misc. parts I have gathered.
