Jake's Dagger From Avatar Replica Review

I received Jake's Dagger Replica from the movie Avatar. I received this from Nobel Collectibles the box was not much to talk about but Nobel Boxes never are. The Dagger itself is very nicely done. The dagger looks and feels like it is made of bone but it is plastic, but it is very realistic looking and feeling. The wrapping around the bone looks and has a very good feel to it. The display could have been done better, for one the frosted Avatar Logo is not noticeable at all unless you have a dark background behind it. If you have this up to a lit background or a light bagkground you will not see the logo. I posted pictures so so that you could see this fact and I posted a video review for closeups of the Dagger.

I'm glad the overall feeling of the blade itself is good. I wasn't too keen on the display based on the preview pics on the Noble site, but I'm happy the logo isn't that noticeable.

I have Neytiri's on order, and hopefully that'll be released soon.

thank for the review. I got mine the other week and one thing some people might want to know is that part of the blade near the tip is translucent plastic. At least mine is. On the backside of the blade there is also some copyright information written on it. I was kind of bummed the handle was not a real weave of some material and just molded but I think it still looks good.
