Is it me, or are some sigs getting a little big?

There are several more that I see from time to time that look bigger than normal to me. Now I could be totally wrong. It is just an impression I got.

It's right at the limit of 600x150. The CoC was suppose to be amended to 150 instead of 100, but it looks like that change didn't take place; I'll get that fixed. The forum software will auto re-size if the image is larger than what is allowed.

That is my thought. When you cant tell easily what the user is saying vs. the sig, there is a problem

Do you have to have certain post count or something for you sigpic to show? It appears I have everything done right. The pic is uploaded and I can see it in the UserCP section. I also 'insert(ed) sig pic' to no avail.

All you would have to do is change your signature picture. The coding that is in your signature will keep the link and just use the new picture.

No offense and I'm not trying to pick a fight, but when you compare the size of his banner with the total size of your sig (everything below the _____) the space used is the same. At least on my monitor. :unsure

Nah, doesn't work. Not sure if it's not enabled or not but I mistakenly posted a banner that was HUGE and even after flushing my cache it was still huge. I figured out what I did wrong and fixed it.

I don't think there's much to interpret with regards to "family friendly" but I guess my family wasn't dysfunctional... :lol

Your own is pretty large.

If only there was an option to have the sig show up only once per thread or page. We don't need to see it each and everytime a person replies in a thread. I manually do this, but there should be automatic option.

The staff is discussing this topic and are working to determine a better sized sig/banner. We should have an announcement up soon.

Safe bet is that if your sig is larger then rocketeer25's sig, then it's too big. I'd always go for smaller dimensions that mod's & site admin. You can't go wrong then.

And apologies. I've actually been meaning to resize it because it looks big to *me* as well. I've just let my real job get in the way. By the time I get home from working in the sun all day, I just don't feel like puttering around on PS.

Edit to add: In my defense, when I first made it, I used the size limitations as a guide so I was at least within "legal" bounds.
