Ironman helmet material help

Hey guys my name is noah im new to costuming and was wondering what type of foam to make my iron man helmet out of so if anyone could help me that would be great thanks

You want to use something called closed cell EVA foam. Most people either use industrial floor mats or order it in sheets online.

Kind of, xrobots has a method of sealing and resin coating the foam (here) because straight resin will eat away at the eva. Though a lot of people use glue and paint or plastidip if you don't want to go through that whole process.
