Iron man suit idea...

Has anyone thought if making an iron man suit similar to the way they made master chief's forward into dawn suit? I mean an unbreakable suit!

well in the webseries, master chiefs suit was spot on. however it was made of a rubber material allowing the person in the suit to be tossed around. no damage to the suit what so ever. just seeing if anyone had the idea to do a iron man suit the same.

This method would need a mould in which you put in foamy rubber'ish stuff instead of root cast or fiberglass.

I suspect if you were going to do some kind of action sequence in the armor, that would be the way to go. I am unsure how good it would look in person though.

yes people have done the rubberized suit. only prolem is too much movement/use causes creases in the rubber, whereas with fiberflass you dont have that but fiberglass constricts movement more

Remember, they do build a bunch of suits just for this reason. They build suits for close up and suits for stunts.

if this is one suit, it's most likely casted in some kind of flexible rubber with a paint of the same material for it to adere.
