Iron Man - Ref pics, hints, suggestions

Hey guys, this is super noob Gemini khan from beautiful Rome, Italy, speaking.
I'm opening this thread because I'm eagerly looking for pics or anything that could be useful to create a good Iron Man suit. I'm a sintra lover, or better, maniac. I use it for almost anything...used it to make a Spartan Costume, using it to make a clone trooper armor from zero and so on...so I was thinking to use it to try and create a mark III armor design.

I know it could sound crazy, but I helplessly fell in love with this armor and I can't give up. I want to give it a try.

So now, any suggestions, reference pictures or anything at all that could help me to make it real? I'm not into sculpting...should I start?

Right now I'm really looking for pictures...this is what I've found so far:

Iron Man Movie Reference

Any help would be TRULY appreciated, thanks.

Well, I think so far that's about the best pic of the movie armor we've seen. I found this photo on Superherohype.com, it's supposed to be one of the movie posters from SDCC...but I'm not sure how accurate it is to the movie:

Yeah, I saw it.
I think this armor here is very very close to the one in the movie. The movie helmet is completely edgeless though, specially at nose height, were the face plate ends and connects with the red metal (sorry for the crappy explanation). This one still looks a bit like the iron man bust or comiquette made by Sideshow.

I'm still missing a good shot of the back of the armor.
I know it is pretty much different from the back of the comiquette. THe comiquette has kind of a ridge on the back, right were the spine runs. The movie armor seems not to have it.

If you run into anything helpful, please post it :D
Thanks so much.
