Ok it was aMk2 in the begining but that thing is boring looking. Thanks to Rick for the insperation. This thing was alot of fun to build. But a total pain in the A$$. Everything is so small. It was scratch built. None of the fan I used is left eccept for the piece under the coils.

The razor blade os for size reference. This thing is tedious

Re: Scratch built Arc reactor MK2

I think it's looking great so far. Will you be wearing it under a gray wifebeater?

Re: Iron Man MK2 chest piece (New pics)

Very cool! This turned out well.

So what did you use to build this?

Re: Iron Man MK2 chest piece (New pics)

I used a ocilating fan. The center of the fan blades is the main piece. For the etched details in the center I used a platic pin cusion, the fame of a soundboard speaker and, a faucet screen from my kitchen:lol

Very cool! This turned out well.

Speaking of the reactor, I was at Radio Shack and they had these square LED's that were really big, Really Bright, and REALLY BLUE.

If they weren't $4.00 a piece I would have bought them to make my own reactor.
