iron man helmet help

Hey guys, I'm creating this iron man helmet below out of foam but if you can see in the top part of the helmet which is the first page of the pep files it has these little cuts in.. Basically i'm just asking does it need them little cuts or can i just cut it out as a rectangle? Thanks

thats the foam unfold buddy if you want the pep one you need to search for it

You need the cuts to form your curve, unless you use a heat gun to shape the foam.
