Iron Man costume sizing

Hello
This is my first post on this forum. I have been looking here for some time now, and it's some very impressive work you guys have made. :cool

I have been making costumes the last couple of years, and alot of props.

I have a good skill in making fiber glass, rubber parts, resin. And now I want to make a Iron Man costume for myself. :love This one with pep files.

I'm about 1,70 m tall. Not a big problem, I can size everything down to my size. But I need a big helmet, else it won't fit my "fat" head. :lol But the helmet is very to big compared to the order parts.

Any ideas what to do? I'm thinking about making the War Machine, it looks a bit more bulky.

Anyone else got this problem?

one thing to keep in mind is this, the helmet will look large on you with out the armor on. the armor will add to your size (like football pads) i would build the upper torso and put it on your body, then put the lid on and take some pics. this will ultimatly help you determine if the helmet is too large or small.

hope that makes sense.

Yes it does thanks. :cool

I'm just worried that with the wide armor, would look stupid when i'm only 1,70 m tall?

one of my buddies is 1.72 m tall, but he added masseve lifts in his iron man. he is around 2 m tall in costume. he achived this by having his feet in the shin area. now, he did the animated style so it wouldnt be as obvious.
judgehelfast's ironman
