Indy MKVIIs - Todds or Magnoli?

Can't comment personally on the Magnoli bag although I've heard nothing but good things about it. I have Todd's bag and strap and I have to say that it's great. I actually use it as my every day satchel ("it's not a purse, it's European!") and it holds up well.

I also use mine everyday (Todd's) It fits so much things into it and it called a Man Purse:) I had one old ww2 vet come up to me and recognize what it was. He told me they had hidden suicide pills in them aswell:thumbsup

I've got a Magnoli bag and I have to say it's wonderful. It's quality work, and extremely sturdy. I've never been worried about anything messing it up. You could run it over with a tank!

I went with an original vintage...then added a $10 sale Todd's bag strap. Awesome bag, and perfect SA goodness! I have been using it as a diaper bag for the past three years for a couple of kids... Had to have a man-bag for that so might as well make it an Indy-bag.

WPG has them usually, and mine came in the perfect color.

You can also find good vintage bags on ebay as well... just be very picky and you will end up with something very nice.

My vintage 1942 W&G Mark VII came with it's original gasmask :love

Still looking for a vintage strap :confused

Original vintage is the way to go. You can still find them.

Having said that, you can't deal with the better dude than Tony Magnoli. Great eye for accuracy and quality.

Can't comment on Todd's, they got into the Indy game later than I was.

I don't have a Todd's bag, but I have other stuff from Todd. Great stuff, really. I do own a Magnoli bag, and I absolutely love it! I put a Todd's strap on the Magnoli bag. Both are superb.

I have a WPG replica and a real one I just got from them, both are very nice.
The Original stamped 1942 is in mint condition with just a little dust.

Thanks for all the input so far. I want to go for a replica just because this'll be my man purse too and I'll keep things like my lunch in there, so I don't want something that's 50 years old! Seems like there's not much in it between Todds and Magnoli so far.

You are going to be able to fit you lunch and a 1,5 liters soda bottle and still be able to close it :)
