Todd's Costumes has some real MKVII bags in stock now if you're interested. I'm sure they will go fast if they haven't already!

I'm also working on putting together an Indy costume/collection, which will be my first high quality costume I've done. I don't know if anyone's mentioned it yet, but I hear that the Akubra Federation IV makes a pretty good low-cost Indy hat. I've settled on that one until I can afford a real beaver hat.

As for guns, Denix makes a pretty decent-looking Browning Hi Power (I don't own one). Good replicas of the Webley and S&W are a little bit harder to come by I think.

I would recommend skimming sites like ebay, etsy, etc for some paper/small prop replicas. Here's an etsy page I found that sells some small replicas for fairly cheap. I was planning on picking up a few things just to have something to carry around in my bag while I'm wearing the costume.

I know it's not helpful for more-or-less immediate gratification, but we own both the German and the standard Indy Magnoli headpieces and they're really beautiful and well-made. I don't know if he's still selling them, but I don't think so. Someone please correct me if I'm wrong. Barring that, I think it might be worthwhile to seek them out on eBay, on the rare occasions when they do appear.

On a separate note, that list of replica item producers is very useful. I think we'll be visiting some of them to enhance the replica side of our collection!

So you want to join the Indy Crew.. Best thing to do, is join up on the COW (Club Obi Wan) boards.. All the information you'll need is there..

Depends on if you are willing to spend the $$ for quality and accuracy.. Another big question is, what versions are you wanting?? Fedoras, Whips, Pistol, Jackets, etc, are different in each movie, so again, depends on which version you want, and how accurate..

My Indy display, is being set up for a Raiders "Cairo" look, so of course, I hunt down the Raiders versions.. I noticed you didn't mention Indy's Jacket, which is an iconic piece, so would be nice to have.. But, then you get the predicament, that I went through; where do you stop?? You're looking at getting a Fedora and Whip, so might as well grab the Jacket.. But, then if you've got those pieces, you may as well grab the Shirt, Pants, Boots, Belts, Bag, etc, etc, and then you'll need a mannequin to display the costume.. GET OUT NOW, while you can!! :lol We've seen what you're like with BttF, Indy will only get worse..

But, to give you some ideas:

* Fedora: Highly recommend Penman Hats.. IMO, they are the best around.. I've got the "Cairo" version, and is beautifully made..

They are pricey, compared to others, and there is a bit of a waiting time (As they are popular), but so worth the wait.. They are also custom to your head size..

* Bullwhip: Highly recommend Crease N Corral.. You could always track down a David Morgan version, but be prepared to spend over $1000.. The Crease N Corral are more than half that price, and are stunning.. I've got the "Streets of Cairo" version, and love everything about it..

If you're on a budget, Indy Magnoli's seem to be a nice choice..

* Grail Diary: Highly recommend demiguel.m and Sarednab's versions.. demiguel.m's version is a thing of beauty.. Hand written and drawn, and is my favourite.. I've also got both Sarenab's versions, the Hero and the Story, and are both amazing work..

There are plenty of options out there for the Grail Diary.. I have about 6 different versions, by different people.. A couple of other versions you should look at are: , kalkamel, Orange_Blend, think Serenity did a version too.. One version I would like to add to my Indy Collection is, Indy Magnoli's, but he doesn't do them anymore..

One thing with the Grail Diary's, is that you can never have too many.. :lol I'm working on getting all the different versions added to my collection over time..

* Pocket Knife: As RobertMuldoon mentioned:

Folding Knives: Linder Knives Hunter --- Heinnie Haynes - Knives, Pocket Tools and Accessories

* Gun: I know someone was doing a run recently in the JY.. You can always find versions on eBay, but one issue with these, is whether they'll get through Customs..

* Headpiece of the Staff of Ra: Highly recommend RelicMaker.. Best by far.. You could also try the Nobile Collection version..

* Fertility Idol: Highly recommend the Sideshow Collectables version:

Mind you, these are sold out, so it's the matter of trying to find one cheap on eBay or JY..

Another version to look at getting, would be Ozymandius.. Anything that comes from Ozy, is nicely finished, even kits, where not much work is needed to finish it off..

* Lao Che's Diamond and Coins: Highly recommend Markpoon's Diamond.. I don't think he does them anymore, but they pop up in JY and eBay..

Can't remember who did the Coins, though I think Indy Magnoli did them at one stage..

* Lao Che Antidote: Been a few versions around.. Was a run recently, but can't remember who..

I think P.J. Jones, over on the German Indy Forums, did them for a while, so may still be..

* Sankara Stones with Manuscript: Highly recommend Landron Artifacts and Azuma (COW member) for the Stones.. Landron Artifacts offers nicely finished static versions, and Azuma is in process of doing a light up version..

As for the Manuscript, there are a few that pop up on eBay, that are pretty good.. I was lucky to score Sanskrit manuscript's from Indy Magnoli..

* Voodoo doll and Zalim's Pin: Highly recommend Markpoon's Head/Torso.. Then follow tutorials found on the boards, to complete it..

As for the Zalim Pin, you seek RelicMaker, though, I'm not sure if they are still available..

* Chalice of Kali: Highly recommend the Sideshow Collectables version:

* The Cross of Coronado: Highly recommend RelicMaker.. Best by far.. Sarednab has a run going on shortly, for his version.. It looks pretty good..

And Markpoon's version is pretty good too..

* Holy Grail: Highly recommend Restaurajones (COW member).. They are a work of art..

Though, being bias, I love Indy Magnoli's version I recently got for Christmas.. There are other member on the baords that offer them too..

* Grail Knight Painting: Highly recommend Peter74's version.. You can get kit forms here and there on eBay, but Peter's are nicely made and most accurate I've seen around..

* Crystal Skull: Highly recommend Indiana Andrews (COW member) version.. Think I heard about someone working on one here, but not sure who?? Maybe Markpoon or someone??

* Fransisco de Orellana Mask: Highly recommend Indiana Andrews (COW member) version.. I believe they are available now..
