Hi everybody,

I would like to make an 1/6 "Imerial Probe Droid" from scratch and I don`t know its dimensions.

Does anyone know? Or maybe at least in width?

Thank you

Jerome

I've been wanting to do a full-sized one for a while - from what I can tell in my research, the Droid is 3 feet in diameter and from 6 to 6.8 feet tall depending if arms are extended straight or not. You should be able to scale it from there with good photos like what's in the Chronicles book.

Jerome-

I may have some pics of the small studio scale one from the tour "Where Science Meets Imagination"...not sure if they'll help for a 1/6 lifesize, but you might get some detail pics. The studio scale one was pretty cool to see close up; I wasn't expecting it to be such a little model.

The Art of the Empire Strikes Back, From Star Wars to Indiana Jones and The Star Wars Chronicals along with any additional photo reference you can maybe get from others will be your best bet.Go to the SSM web site,I know they have a bunch of photos of both the full sized prop and the miniature used for filming.

Based on The Art of the Empire Strikes Back, From Star Wars to Indiana Jones and The Star Wars Chronicals

the stop-motion prop has the dimension 32x32x63cm (diameter of 12.5984 inches).

It doesn't say the scale they used but with ewodus measurements if its 3 feet on diameter, then the prop was a 1:3 scale
