I also love the Tyrell building in Blade Runner. Like the Pyramid of Ra, I've seen it on eBay, but the details weren't very good.It could also pass for a building in Blade Runner
Anytime I listen to the soundtrack, I feel that way. This is making me want to watch the movie again and I just watched it a few months back!
I'm really disappointed in Resurgence. The alien mothership is also too mechanical and unrealistic.Anytime I listen to the soundtrack, I feel that way.
Its a shame the 2nd one just couldn't even try to compare to this one.
Yeah, I didn't even watch it in theaters. I hardly remember much about it, other than the disappointment after 20 years of waiting.I'm really disappointed in Resurgence. The alien mothership is also too mechanical and unrealistic.
What material did you use for these legs?
Or is it from a mold?
Either way, it's definitely looking really awesome.
To think its going to be 30 next year.
I still have the ticket stub from the second time seeing it back then, and thr very oldest I have.
I see I was turning 15 within two days.
Oh the memories.....
I miss the days of seeing a movie trailer and that feeling that you couldn't wait to see it....and of course, seeing it andnit was really good. The legs, including the molded parts, are all made of overlapping thin plastic plates. I felt very nostalgic when I saw your memory ticket.
In Japan, the film was released at the end of 1996. I remember going to see it on opening day.

Movies just don't have that hype now a days.
So many get pumped out, I half the time don't even notice til its hitting theaters.

It's a shame that even though they had prepared such a large and detailed prop, no detail was visible in the movie.I remember when the mothership blows up at the end, it felt like an anime style explosion, which I loved how they did it.
