Your closest without going over. While I do intend to market kits based off ReBoot, with a great deal of help from my friend Joker (Sorry I know he uses a L337 style spelling, Look up Johnny Five Toy Replica and your bound to find him.) The Icons I am talking about here are roughly 1:1 scale pin like deals. It's fare easier to print the icon on Minifigures, along with their outfits and facial designs.I know ReBoot, so that at least gives me some idea of what you're doing. You want to make Lego sized props of props from TV and movies. The logo from ReBoot for instance, but done in the Lego world. That wasn't totally clear from reading your message, at first.
Though the flat 1X1 round brick, which is often used by Lego to give their Mixels eyes would do a good job for a "Identity Crisis" two parter themed kit. But yeah These I want to try make before the trip, um I mean one is full size Icon. Well for a human/sprite anyway. Speaking of, if anyone has some scrapped and ruined circuit boards I'd be willing to take them off your hands since Icons have a patern of Circuitry on their backs.
So, can I get a bootleg Lego kit of National Lampoon/summer vacation/great outdoors/Jurassic Park/ Rain Man/ Little Shop of Horrors kit or what?
Hmm Possibly, Lego is making JP sets, Never seen it, I can understand wanting a Dark Helmet or Barney Rubble Rick Morranis but why would you want the bad Mother Brain you know the one who "Will be the ruler of all Video Game Land!" Joking aside while I love Oggie Boogie's singing voice I can't stand the big green mother from outerspace. Also calling them boot leg is not accurate, these kits will contain high quality 3rd party pieces in the form of some accessories, New head sculpts, Body designs but 96% will be fully Lego if recolored or given new facial stamps, body design (Clothing pattern prints) and the capes are made from a sturdy cloth that is on par with anything you'd fined in a proper Lego set.
I'm a third part designer and parts that are not of Danish origin will be marked to serve that I only wish to add to a lego fan's collection or MOC. Like a group I visit yearly for figures at my local Comic Con, Comic con Cape Girardeau, Mo. I hope to oneday set up a stand for all my creations with the Lego's taking center stage.
