How to work with ABS?

Hey all,

Getting ready to work on my Stormtrooper helmet and wanted to know the EASIEST and best way to trim the ABS material and make the cuts clean and smooth, mainly smooth. Any help is greatly appreciated. Also, are there any tutorials on putting together one of the ABS helmets? Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the link. I'm not sure which helmet I have, but it's in two pieces (the face and then the back/top are one). I bought it years ago off ebay and have never had the opportunity to display it, so I haven't built it. Now that I've got the room, I want to build it, but know nothing about putting it together. It came trimmed up nicely for the most part, but I want to get the "teeth" a little cleaner.

Do you have a Dremel?

A dremmel with a diamond wheel cutter. It worls wonders. After that take a sanding block (I use sandpaper on a drywall sander) to smooth the edges .
