How to remove "3M VHB Isotac 9469"

Hello !

I'll have to remove the grips of my luke ESB. I was afraid of drilling it so i used "3M VHB Isotac 9469". I took some advice on the forum years ago.
How can i remove it now withouth damages ?
I just want to know everything about removing, cleaning a graflex.

I do not have tried anything at the moment cause the graflex is in my parent's home. I'm collecting all the infos i can before i get back to them and do the job.

If i use dental floss to remove the grips, what product can i use to clean the graflex without damages ? (Removing residus)

Rubbing alcohol should do the job, as far as cleaning the flash.

The alcohol won't attack the graflex by removing the nickel plate ?

Acetone for removing residus, has anyone tried this ? Acetone is corrosive no ?

The guide recommends a milder acetone solution, like nail polish remover. I use Cutex.

Pull the grips off (or use dental floss), then rub the VHB tape off with your thumb. 99% of it will come right off. Then use rubbing alcohol (isopropyl alcohol) with a paper towel or cotton balls to get the remainder off.
