I have very nooby question:

How do I post images in my post and have it large? what I mean is, everytime I post an image its the size of a thumbnail and I can't figure how to do it otherwise. I have seen other posts where images are large.

here's an example of my small image that I want large:

DaftPunkFinal.jpg

any help?

I don't know, but I would think there is a default software setting that shows a large pic like 1127x960 or something at a max size to fit the screen in it's entirety, until you click on the photo and then it shows up as actual size which requires you to scroll up/down, left/right to see the whole thing.

I use Photobucket for my hosting site. It's idiotproof as far as linking photos :lol Pick a photo in your album, go to the box with all the codes, left click on the IMG code, it turns yellow and says "copied", then just right click in your post text and hit paste.

You can upload large images here. They will automatically be resized in the posts and when people click on them, they will get the larger version. We would actually prefer you to upload them here as opposed to offsite because we have a TON of old broken image links in threads from years past where people uploaded them offsite to photo sites that no longer exist.

Do you just click on the "insert image" icon on the post reply option? I was just wanting to post a few images like sofaking does on his 1:1 Millenium Falcon thread instead of just always posting thumbnails.

After posting your image you got a code like this:

[ ATTACH=CONFIG]336163 (without the blanks)

All you have to do now, is copying the link address (not the image address) of your posted image, edit your post and insert the copied address into a "IMG" tag. Change the "ATTACH" tag to:

[ IMG]http://www.therpf.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=336163&d=1402320638 (without the blanks)

The result:

attachment.php
