How to Age the "All Along the Watchtower" Radio?

I have one of these coming my way shortly but it is in new condition... Who would have thought that would ever be the problem? :lol Anyway, I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions as to aging it up a bit?

give it a light sanding then rub some liquid shoe polish all over it

Leave it out in the sun for about a week. Should bleach it out significantly.

Either that, or find the pink version of that radio.

Painting it would be the best. Take it apart and repaint the entire thing and weather it with more paints.

You can get the worn look pretty easy by layering pains and rubbing off the top layers.

It came yesterday! It looks great and sounds better than I thoiught it would. Now to buy some records - gods, I haven't done that in decades!

Maybe not a pink one... But I could start with the sun before the sanding...

Just for a moment then wipe it off. should leave a light residue and make it look a bit grimey
