Hi

I notice that the more i get into collecting mask props, the more nervous i get in regards to how to display them in order to not damage them. i'd like some advice on What's the best way to display my masks, they are the tick cowl and the phantom cowl.

is it possible to leave them on display on their stands on my bookshelf? Or do they have to be encased?

any help would be appreciated, cheers.

Depending on what they are made of, minimum I would have them in a case to protect from dust and away from sunlight.

For my foam latex cowls and masks I keep them in a display case, out of sunlight and always wear a fresh pair of cotton gloves while handling them. Temperature and humidity is also a good thing to think about.

Thanks for the tips, i live in the northeast and we have all sort of crazy temps year round so its def something i've thought about. Could I ask what exactly does dust do to damage the foam latex?

im thinking of having a custom acrylic case made for both my cowls, shame you can't leave them out bc they will damage. I like seeing my tick cowl on top of my boocase :)
