Was looking to do a storm trooper and saw a Guy on YouTube with tutorial for his kit on eBay. Trooper bay. Is his kit any good? Any help would be appreciated

Yep. I just received my MTK kit (trooperbay) a week ago and already have it mostly trimmed out. The helmet alone was worth it. Also it is 501st approvable.
Don't be concerned about him selling them on eBay. There are a few of us legitimate makers who sell there.

awesome ! thanks for the advice . he seemed to be a honest source . i have ordered other stuff from his site before .

Trooper bay's molds were CAP's first set of molds his helmet is a recast of TE2. If you want the best then go with RS.

Amish trooper can you pm. Me a link? Thx. Secound question is IM 6"4 is that too tall for a storm trooper? are there kits that will work with me?

I'm 6-2 and 240lbs. Not knowing your weight, when I bought my armor I was forwarded to AM (Armour Master) but there in later searching it appears that RT might also be good for larger troopers.

Armor for the 501st is best to research on whitearmor.net

You'll find all the vendor info and which armor is best suited for your body-type. I have an MTK helmet which I love so much. His armor is great but for a bigger dude like myself I too went with the AM armor kits. I think now the AM kits are now re-sculpted and go by the name NE kits

When I assembled my first set of armor I was 220 and I'm 6 foot. My set was a CAP armor which was a TE copy. I think it all comes down to the build. I would suggest for bigger guys RT.

Don't get the ATA if you are larger. It is 2/3rd gen recast of TE so it will run the smallest. CAP-W isn't on that list but Scootch is a good guy to deal with.

The waters are soo muddy these days with recasts, legit or not.I gave up following whos who when TE started selling multiple molds to different people.I'd look into RS,AP,or even wait for eFX if you just want display.

I had a set of MTK armor and was very pleased with it for the price. The customer service was also fantastic. I would say you couldn't go wrong with it depending on your size, which is a huge consideration. Different suits are going to fit different body types better
