Hoopers watch in Jaws

There has been much speculation in the watch collecting world about what watch does Hooper were in Jaws. After reading a few dozen threads here I figure someone here must know.

It's an Alsta Nautoscaph 17 Jewels with a 1970s vintage Speidel USA silver stainless steel expansion watch bracelet.
