HMS Mike help! DS9 engineering prop - was this one yours?

Tonight I scored this Rayovac lantern on ebay (after nearly one and a half years of searching). It was used to make a prop from the USS Defiant engineering set.

Mike did HMS studio have anything to do with this prop and can you shed any light on it for me? (some of these pix are from Doug Drexler's blog drexfiles.)

Well, the one I just bought was shipped today. I hope to see it soon.

I got this message from Mike of trek propzone:

HMS did not do this prop. It was made by Prop'er Effects after I left. Most of the detail is graphics tape but the end do look like alum. Other than that with out seeing better photos I can not tell you any more. That piece may have started out as something else for the show and yes I know it is a camping light .
