Help with a preschool aged Darth Vader costume!

Hello again, folks!

So, we're about 3 months out from our major local convention, or as we describe it to our four year old, "Super hero party" and we've given her the option to choose anyone she wants to dress up as.

She picked her very favorite person in the world. Darth Vader.

So we're going to do it, and I can make most of it myself, but I am not interested in tackling Vader's helmet on my own. So I'm coming to you for advice. What is a solid, relatively inexpensive vader helm that will fit a 4 year old?

I don't want a $10 walmart mask, but I don't want to spend $170 either.

I'd like to find something in the... $40 range? It doesn't need to be screen accurate here, but it has to be well built. Not held to her face with a bit of elastic.

Ideas?

Buy a cheap mask like one of the rubies and build a helmet for it out of foam or plasticard. You cab take a bob the builder helmet for the dome and make the skirt out of any material you fancy. Then you can attach the mask to that helmet.

I have an insane amount on my plate between now and July, and I just don't have enough room for another project, not even a relatively small one. Is there really no place to purchase a reasonably well done children's Vader Helmet?
