Help Needed - Thor Movie Mjolnir Handle

Hi All,

Need guidance on making an accurate movie Mjolnir, in particular the handle.

I was going to wrap a thin brushed stainless steel sheet around a 30mm tube/rod etc. However I can't find a good reference pic for the leatherwork.

Would anyone have a good pic of the stitching, is the leather one piece or made up of individual sections? any tips, advice would be great, thanks
