Monsieur Tox (Julien) and I have been at this for some time now and we still have some bits left to fully ID the ROTJ AT-ST. Thanks to some updated reference we can see some areas a little more clearly.

All the parts are anywhere from around 1 cm to 3 cm in size.

Thanks guys!!!

1) Probably two kit parts - part a is a dome shape with a hole in the top. Part B is a rectangular shape with one end wider than the other. A notch is taken out of the center wider end, and it has two claws and possibly some very small rivets (8 total) at the tops of the surface of each claw.

3) Possibly wheels from an aircraft kit?

7) End caps of some sort, the white area in the picture is styrene rod.

An updated pic of parts #2

.. used in the cockpit of the large X-wing for ROTJ (but never used in filming).

Appreciate any help with these guys. Thanks !!

I think part 2 (and the one in the X-wing photo) is from the Tamiya 1/35 Marder MICV (the modern West German one, not the WW II SP gun). They are the valve covers from the engine. See the little Mercedes-Benz logos?

I believe the wheels you're looking for come off of a Messerschmitt ME-109 model, or possibly a Spitfire. It'll be a bit before I can pick it out. I used to do a fair bit of airplane building back in the day and sometimes it takes a bit to remember.

That's a match! The kit may not be the same as the one ILM used in '82-'83, but those are definitely the same parts. Great eye, thank you! :)

madrobot: Thanks man :) They do look a lot like the wheels or tail wheel from a WWII-era aircraft.

Parts in 7 look very like some of the bits from the Tamiya 1/12 F1 cars, though they don't quite match the BT44, 312T or JPS Mk. III. :confused I have a 72D at home that I'll have a look at later.

Matt, the parts on the Foot in section1, should be from the Lotus Mk111, its the front hubs i believe. The dome im not sure of!
The wheel in section 3 do look like Monogram ME262, but i coule be off base there.
Parts in section 7...rough guess, 312T Ferrari!

AHA! Takahashi-san kept urging me to buy the Marder... I've been sitting on those parts for about four months now... wondering what this kit donated to the ATST... but I thought it was the ESB ATST. Heh.

Here's the funny part - I cast them when I did the ESB stuff, as I thought they were cool greeblies! So I have TONS of these now.

Thanks Matt to have made this thread and thanks Lee to have ID'ed the base of the neck ;)

Wow many thanks for the infos, those are the right parts !

Damn the Empire has high quality stuff ! A Ferrari engine mounted on a Mercedes-Ford chassis with Porsche cool-fans. Woot ! :lol That's a race AT-ST we have now !

Just sent a message to swpropmaker (Steve). Maybe with a little work we can get this one wrapped up!

Thanks to Julien, Lee and everyone!

I believe the parts used by John on the master are from the 312T, I tried on mine but they were to small, but maybe I'm wrong...

The wheels in pic 3 look very much like the ones fitted to the some P-40s.
They had that covered hub and were quite a narrow tyre.
Do you have an idea of what diameter these wheels you're looking for, are?
Might be albe to narrow it down then as I have a few P-40s in the stash.

The diameter of those wheels it's about 6 mm. But as you can see the 3 wheels are different. Maybe one is upside down, but the one on the top is clearly different and a bit larger...
Probably from 1/72 planes.

Right, well I didn't think they were that small. My stuffs all 48th, but to give you an idea of what I'm talking about.

#4 is just a set screw, if that is the part your looking for, it could be an 1/8 or 10-32 etc..
The wheels are definatly not from the 109, i have that one and they arent from the harrier either in acse you are wondering.

I think the part in pic 4 refers to the kit part surrounding that screw Jerry :lol
Funny thing is Matt, that part does look familiar too, ill check it out!

#2, #5, and #7 are bumped off of the list. Getting close :lol

Lee, do you still think the part on the foot in #1 is from the Lotus??

I also have another one I've had trouble with.

Anyone seen this little guy?

Matt, just PM'd Julien on this too. The dome on the foot.....i ordered some 9.5mm Plastruct for the TESB, but there incorrect.
Thing is, they look spot on the the ROTJ props part, right down to the mold dimple on the top dead centre.
