Here's a list of the parts identified so far:

1960s Tape Recorder Speaker Mesh (also used on the R2 Scanner from ESB)
1960s Tape Recorder Knobs (2x) (also used on the HIC Hero Panel)
#18 (V8 Model Engine Kit) Cap, Cylinder Head (Clear) (3x)
Aluminum wire connectors (12x)
Small clear acrylic box for relays
18 gauge yellow wire with white shrink wrap
Silver wire loom 1" wide
Cassette Tape Deck (Car Stereo or Portable)
PL259 Coaxial Male Connector (end of aluminum tube)

And a best guess list of parts:
Pully - Rader Eye
Aluminum Valve - PSI
12v Relay (dark orange wire) (4x)
Classic Chrome tape measure cover
Flat, round bulb covers for the #18 holes (Same as HIC?) (2x)
Clear acrylic license plate or picture frame or the Light reflector for the inside of a portable tape player?
Clear red dice or red lamp fixtures about 1/2" diameter
Chrome drawer handle
Chrome retaining ring
Forest green hydraulic with lever (Volvo engine part?)
Tank regulator and valve adapter from a BBQ (Aluminum lever with brass handle, knurled, stepped with a tip)?

I'd be interested in knowing this also, I can't make anything out myself, I might have to change my dome if this can be identified ;-) lol

Wasn't there record player parts in there?

I see one of those IG88 coaxial connectors on the end of the aluminium tube.

The clear plexi is the same on the XWing dash????? Doesn't really help if its not identified. ;)

It sure is, also the same part on the periscope on the at at walker

I think that's part of the engine revell model

Vince, I think you're confusing the carbonite hero panel mesh with the Vader Reveal neckbrace mesh and R2's scanner.

Yes, I think you're right, Marcus.
It's the other R3 innards that have the speaker grill/HIC part. This one looks more like the R2 scanner from ESB.

The two red pips, top left in first pic, look like Lego "lights".

You forgot the PL259 coaxial connector I mentioned.

V8 part should be with you soon.

Great eye! I barely recognized it. You just saved me several hours of machining work. :p

I'm going to try and post photos of the second R3 dome. It has some of the same parts:

This one doesn't have as many lights as the orange R3 (first post), so it's possible this is the R3 seen in ANH on the Death Star.

I have been trying to identify the large knob and came across some photos of a vintage tuner unit or Ham Radio Unit.
It is possible that the large, green box at the center of the photo is actually an old Ham Radio. The large knob is more than likely
the tuning knob from the same unit.
