Help Me Find A Jason Pt 4 Head Mask

Last year I ordered a latex Jason head from a guy named Mark Goodson. He took my money and never delivered the mask to me and a bunch of other people.

The mask he made was like the one done by Jeremy Bohr which is currently for sale from Paul Daniels over at http://www.darksidestudio.com/

Has anyone dealt with this website, or can you tell me of a better place to buy a latex Jason mask?

Personally, I've never dealt with Darkside.

But I've alway's hear great things about them.

IMO, It might be a little bit late in this season

for you to be placing an mask order now,

'if needed by Halloween', if that's what your after.

But ya never know;..I say give um a call.

I'm sure others w/ more knowledge on them
will chime in soon with some more info on that.

Mark Goodson took lots of people here before he was banned. He's a real scum bag. I hope karma gets him some day.

There's also another guy that goes by the name of 'Bear' on another forum who was selling Mark Goodson masks and claimed that Mark only gave him tips on the sculpt and it was funny how both masks looked identical. To make a long story short...this guy 'Bear' also started not delivering the masks and he vanished with peoples money. Everyone has the thought he was just selling for Mark and getting a cut from the sales. You have to be careful buying in this hobby and know who you're dealing with or at least ask about their reputation before buying anything from them.

Paul at Darkside is a great guy to deal with.

Call him he may have one still left. Also, www.deathstudios.com They do one with the blessing of Tom Savini.

Check out www.nightowlpro.com . Justin has a great sculpt too.

Also, as a last resort, post a WTB thread on www.thehma.net I am sure someone there will sell one. I have been a member there for a long time, so if you need me to poke around and see if a seller is good to deal with, I don't have a problem with that!

Words that I always live by in my 15 odd years of doing it solo as a indy mask maker/seller.

I do not see how some people can live with themselves.

I wish I'd done a Pt. 4 Jason instead of a Pt. 1 boy Jason.

oh I just looked at Darkside and on the message board, he says that they still have final choppers in stock.

The masks from www.deathstudios.com and www.darksidestudio.com are very similar...so hard to decide! I don't need it for Halloween...I just need one to complete my Jason costume.

As for Mr Goodson, I orignally met him via eBay and missed one of his auctions. I told him I wanted a lifesize Freddy and he had one left. I sent him the money and got the full size Freddy a month later.

Later down the road I see he is selling a Jason mask on eBay and I bought one of those too thinking, "I sent this guy money outside of eBay and he came through, so I can trust him". He kept making excuses and putting it off, so I left him neg. feedback and then he disappeared. I know that sending money to anyone you meet on the internet is a risk...too bad we get screwed sometimes...

Anywho, thanks for the input guys! I'm off to make a decision...
