Help Id'ing old electrical components?

Since I have half a stun gun...

I'm thinking of having a shot at building this cut-away stun gun from the Space 1999 episode All That Glisters.

It kinda looks like they've crammed it with old transistor radio or suchlike parts. I'm hopeless at identifying electrical components, and was hoping someone out there might recognize something in there? This dates from the mid 70's.

Does anyone even read the prop forum anymore, or have all the prop guys gone elsewhere? :rolleyes

Well it's kind of hard to tell, without better pics, but it's pretty safe to say it's a circuit from the
late 60's, early 70's ( I know, not much help! ). Circuit boards were usually thicker, with larger components.
It looks like it contains capacitors, on the top right side, with an older resistor at the bottom ( the color
bands identify that one easy ). The rest is not all that clear. I see what could be a couple capacitors,
and a coil, but it's just hard to see!

I think it's safe to say they grabbed some boards, and crammed them in there. So, maybe you could
try to find some boards that have those components. A old Ham radio, C.B., or old electronics
to rip apart. It just so happens, if your interested in some old components to improvise with, p.m.
me your email, and I could send you some pics, of some old stuff you may find interest in.

Cheers guys,

I've got my eye on few bits and pieces on Ebay suggested on the other forum, but any help is more than welcome. I know most of it will be a best guess due to the less than great reference.

Sorry for the rant, it just seems that unless you're cosplaying, 3-D printing or pepping, no-one gives a crap around here anymore :(

Well I do Dammit! I'm Old School! Lol!

Seriously though, I have a bunch of vintage electronic parts, if your interested. May not be exact, but could work.

I found all that kind of stuff at army surplus stores, the ones with big back lots and scrapyards for pick and pull. They have all kinds of old dead or merely obsolete electronics, and it might help you shop to go to one with the picture in hand, and start picking and pulling what you need!

1) Electrolytic caps (axial) You will need to look at the speck sheet to match size These should be easy to fins in both blue and gray.
Google (electrolytic caps axial)

2) Vintage Sprague Capacitor (the pic is of the newer orengedrop replacement, I could not find a pic of the original old one)

3) Choke (hand wound)

4) Tunning coil

5) ISKRA-RESISTOR LOOKS LIKE 2W
PACK of 4 VINTAGE ISKRA RESISTORS 2W 2K2 Ohms 5% * ALL TESTED NEW OLD STOCK | eBay

6) Ceramic Disk Cap

7) Looks like it could be a vintage xenon Strobe Trigger transformer (hard to tell from the pic resolution and that would not have come out of a radio).

It looks like that stuff might have been stripped out of an old tube radio (those lite colored ISKRA resistors were mostly in european gear).
