I'm sure its a long shot, but i'm having a hard time looking for boots from the 70's era and hoping somebody might recognize them. Thats the only lead I have to go on.

they look like what they use to call "moon boots" because the sole pattern was like that om the moon i suppose lol

Try modifying your search to include vintage "muck boots". I've seen similar tread patterns on even current boots, and the way the sole gradually wraps up instead of ending at a sharp 90 before coming up to meet the bottom of the boot is very popular in this style of boot as well. Maybe places like Cabela's or another outdoor fitter like Academy Sports or Dicks may carry similar.

Thanks for your help, i was able to narrow it down a little more. I believe that I have found the maker, now I just have to find the model.

Well shoot man, you shoulda just asked "What boots were used for the original Alien space suits" or something to that effect...lol. While I may not have the answer for you, there are so many experts on that topic here I'm sure somebody will know. Had you shown that complete pic rather than just the soles you probably would have got a response before I posted. Not trying to be an arse, but that is a VERY recognizable image to say "boots from the 70's" being your only lead to...

I understand it was a very recognizable picture, trust me. I searched everywhere and have asked everyone who has had their hands on the original suit with no help. I was hoping to get a different perspective on it by only showing the part that matters.

Yeah, that's one of the things I've been looking at but Dallas, Kane, lambert, and ripely all had different boots. And front what I've read and seen the pictures where you can see the tops of the boots are reproductions and not correct or are the smaller kids boots.

Yeah, Dallas' and lamberts are very similar but still different. I just haven't been able to find a good picture of Kane wearing the boot from the top.

Boy I feel foolish. My apologies. That's actually a really smart idea!
