There’s already some great info by parts of Star Wars on the base camera, blue push switch and eye piece, it’s thought the cross piece covering the logo is a model stair railing, but I don’t think the greeble on the left has ever been identified.

Here’s a few more images, I’m seeing 3 sort of triangles around a central hub, could be power connection tabs??? My first guess was a torch battery holder

I just picked up the Plastruct HO stair railing at the hobby shop last week. Looks great. I think that's right.
Wish we could get a top view to see the greeblies up there.

I looked at a lot of knobs for the front piece. No luck.
I also thought that might be a light. Maybe we're seeing the tops of 3 LEDs? No luck with that search either.

Thanks for the ideas, i wonder if they are blobs of solder, the base looks dark brown like a pcb, the 3 bits dull silver and to me it looks light the is a brass hub in the middle, I wander if it is part of a flash handle?

So I picked up a XL33 and I also remembered I had this greeble from a different cimecam, I’ll strip the xp down and see what’s inside, it’s just possible it will continue something similar.

So the vape adapter arrived. test fitted it in some aluminium tube, whilst not accurate I think it will do, failing finding anything more suitable when I strip the camera down
