I'm trying ti ID the helmet worn by these b-36 hustler bomber pilots

Unfortunately they are on screen for only 3 seconds and that is the best shot I could get.

ETA: The bomber is the Peacemaker, not the hustler. I got them confused.

Looks like an MA-2 high Altitude helmet.

I spent several hours looking and I think you're close.

This is the K-1 Partial Pressure High Altitude Helmet with O2 Mask

This is the same mask worn by LtC Walker during the X-1 flight tests.

This is the MA-2 which replaced the K-1

There are a few changes between the two. From what I've read the changes are to the interior suspension, face mask and the radio/communication headset.

Does anyone know where I can get a copy of the K-1? Even if it is a cast copy?

They ued to sell both the helmet and the High Altitude flight suit from the Captain Company ads in Famous Monsters of Filmland.
I remember as a kid (around 1964-5) seeing the helmet in a thrift store for $1.00 and the Flight suit for $3.00 !!!! I still have them today.
