HAs anyone used Colorbond?

It's an automotive paint in a spray can that bonds to almost anything on a molecular level.

Evidently Ford just adopted it for use on their cars.

Their site says it bonds to plastic, vinyl, metal and even leather and carpet.

Just wondering if anyone has used it to color one of their props.

I just a got a can of black Colorbond to repaint the interior of my Z24.

All I can say is this stuff is amazing :eek

It really does bond to plastic. I sprayed a couple of coats on my doors armrest and it looks like I completely recovered it in new vinyl. It calims that no matter how many coats you apply, it will never cover the grain. It's true!

This stuff could be a prop makers best friend, especially for armor and helmets.
