Harrison Ford's hero gloves from Raiders real auction ?

I noticed this on Ebay Harrison Fords Raiders Indy gloves ? I thought these gloves were lost , anyone think this is the real deal ?

(Paramount, 1981) Pair of brown leather gloves with intentional studio soiling, worn by Harrison Ford in the lorry sequence when "Indy" is dragged beneath the vehicle. Comes with a letter of provenance from Jane Page whose father, Malcolm Page was Works Manager at Norank Engineering (based at Elstree Studios) during the production of the film. $2,000 - $3,000

I dunno. It seems anyone could make anything up. Like this:

Anyone could make this up. The gloves were what, dirty Wells Lamont gloves? Not hard to make and then shove a tag on the inside with something like "Ford-Hero" or somesuch written on them.
