Will Ford be getting a MR Falcon? I wonder if he has any interest in that kind of thing.

Good question.....I hear he has some Indy props so if "I" were him,...I'd want one :D

Hasn't he mellowed out a little bit over the years about Han? His doing the signing could be an indication of that...even considering his acting career...Han Solo remains a very memorable character...

I just saw him on a PBS show a few weeks ago, and no he hasn't mellowed out on the Han charater. Star Wars was fun but lets move on, :unsure He's still very proud of Indy, but not Han :(

aljf :eek

You think he'd be a little more receptive to Han as a character despite his obious limitations to an actors talent. Harrison owes him his bank account after all :unsure

I know he's not totally anti Star Wars, but he comes across (to me) as a bit contemtuous about Han.

ya know i was thinkin about this and maybe i figured it out, he was mad cause GL limited his abilities etc. with the character then he saw it and was like... wait alec got to act well... :angry

LOL.

i just dont get it.

there are bands i was in as a kid, that ive burnt tapes of, but if someone remembers... as much as id like to go I CAN DO BETTER... i always feel good if anyone remembers anything... course im not FAMOUS but its a decent anowlogy if you take my meaning. :p

I spent some time with Harrison Ford the weekend before last at the Jules Verne Awards. He was very nice. He signed stuff on the Red Carpet. Backstage, during and after the show he was signing and taking pics.

He did not have a problem taking a pic with me and my R2. He was in a bit of a rush at this point in the evening, but when he saw the R2, he look pleased to take the pic and stayed for more then one quick picture. Then he signed the back panel.

Wow.. He looks terrible..... Not a picture I would want gracing my Falcon though.

I shouldn't judge the picture of Harrison Ford by the quality of the jpg uploaded by Amy. Harrison was looking pretty good the day of the signing and the high res pic looks pretty sweet on the collateral.

Remember, there's none of us getting any younger :)

Not even Robin Williams. ;)

Actually, I LIKE the sort of haggard look. I think he looks more rugged than old... When I first saw the pic, I though he could pull off Indy again...

Yep.

There is no doubt in my mind he could pull off Indy even if Harrison was, god forbid, confined to a wheelchair.

Harrison is a man's man. :lol

That's the experience I've always come to have heard regarding Harrison. I think I was a bit premature in my comment about his contempt. I guess after 30 years being as close to SW as he has been you'd get a bit tired of it too considering the range of talent he has and characters he has done. Han and Indy always get the limelight.

I'd really like to meet him someday.
