Handheld Holopad lit with LEDs

I made this prop for an independent film studio for an upcoming web series. It's a handheld holographic projector lit with multicolor programmed LEDs and a faux touchscreen. The master was made from vacuum formed styrene shells and some turned wooden pieces. Silicone rubber molds were made from which urethane plastic castings were poured, cold cast with aluminum powder. This was a one-off prop, so a PCB for the electronics wasn't made. Instead, the inside is filled with tons of wires resembling spaghetti, but it works! The full gallery is located on my website at http://www.kretschmerkreativ.com/holo-pad. Enjoy!
